Story: I have loved "The 70's Show" for the past couple of years. While my sister, Kristin, was visiting from So. Cal I got her hooked as well. We would call each other on Wednesday nights and talk about what was going on in Point Place. It was great. One boring afternoon at the office, I was cruising the T7S website and in the FAQ it tells you how to get free tickets to a taping. Well... I was planning a trip to So. Cal to visit my sister and was able to get tickets for she and I to attend a taping. It was the best 7 hours of my life (drive time included). We had a blast watching the cast and crew bring our favorite show to life. In between takes there was a comedian to keep the crowd "warm." He had a contest each take to see who could laugh the best. I was one of the lucky winners and got a script from that nights tapping. After they wrapped the show, the cast came out and signed autographs and the such. First I hugged Wilmer for my friend, Jessica who is absolutely in love with him. Then Topher came my way. My heart was beating out of my chest... it's so strange to realize that the people we love on TV and in the movies are ACTUAL PEOPLE... so he came and signed my script and then I mustered every ounce of courage I had in me... "Topher," I asked. "Can I have a hug?" He grinned at me, giggled a little and said, "OF COURSE!" And then it happened... he hugged me. It was great! I was just so impressed with how warm everyone was. We got Popsicles and candy in between takes and the cast was so happy to sign autographs and answer questions. It was great. I totally recommend going! It was too much fun! I have attached a copy of my signed script. Topher is the top signature. I also got autographs from Ashton, Wilmer, Danny, Debra Jo, Kurtwood and Shannon Elizabeth.
